Not only did June Gottlieb represent me in the purchase of my apartment on Sutton Place South, but 20 years later I hired her to sell it for me. Great salespeople are developed and honed. I saw how June and Steve handled the sale of my apartment and I remember thinking: “They’re good. They’re really, really good.” My grown sons affectionately called June “Dad’s real estate sergeant” based on the detailed set of instructions left for them whenever they stayed in their childhood home while visiting NYC during the active marketing phase of the property. I recall a four-page document with hundreds of dos and don'ts, one most memorably stating “No. 178. Absolutely no cooking of any fish or seafood in the apartment during your stay. If you get hungry for fish, make a reservation at Le Bernardin.” ...
